Product DescriptionWith Magic Mouse, Apple has brought Multi-Touch technology to the desktop mouse, giving you a new and more intuitive way to interact with your computer. Just as with iPhone, iPod touch, and MacBook Pro, the Bluetooth Magic Mouse adds gestures and swipes to the usual clicks to bring more functionality and help you get more done with less effort.
One look at Magic Mouse and you'll know it's something special that only Apple could dream up. With a low-profile design and seamless top shell, you'll marvel at this beautiful mouse and its smooth, buttonless appearance. It's not all looks, though. Once you touch it, you'll appreciate how good it feels in your hand. And the magic really begins when you start using it. The Multi-Touch surface covers the entire top of the mouse, and the mouse itself is the button. Scroll in any direction with one finger, swipe through web pages and photos with two, and click and double-click anywhere. Inside Magic Mouse is a chip that tells it exactly what you want to do. Which means Magic Mouse won’t confuse a scroll with a swipe. It even knows when you’re just resting your hand on it. Laser-Tracking Engine Wireless Convenience with Easy Bluetooth Setup And because Magic Mouse is wireless, it can venture beyond the confines of your desk. A quick flick of the on/off switch helps conserve battery power while Magic Mouse is tucked in your bag. Even when it’s on, Magic Mouse manages power efficiently, by detecting periods of inactivity automatically. Make One Great Gesture After Another
Maybe you want scrolling but don’t want swiping. Or two-button clicking instead of one. Whatever the case, Magic Mouse works the way you want it to work. All you do is go to the Magic Mouse preference pane in System Preferences to enable or disable features. The ambidextrous design of Magic Mouse means it fits comfortably in your right hand if you’re a righty or in your left hand if you’re a lefty. And left-handers can easily swap left and right button functionality using System Preferences. System Requirements

Customer ReviewsRated This is a great mouse, once you start using it, you'll miss it when you use other input devices. I've been carrying it to work and back home for games (star craft 2) and web surfing. battery life is long and I never turn it off. Rated The mighty mouse that came with my Apple was pretty good but dirt and/or wear caused the scroll function to fail. The magic mouse solves this problem because it provides scrolling just by stroking its back. It is wireless so that eliminates the cord, this is easy to get used to. I will now have to break the habit of stroking the mouse while I am just thinking. This is not a deal breaker and I am sure that I will soon love it. With the Apple the "blue tooth" function already exists in the computer and the installation consisted of merely turning on the switch (on the bottom of magic mouse) and the computer instantly recognized it. I turn mine off at night but I am sure that this is not necessary. Rated The Apple Magic Mouse blows away the previous version with the tiny ball. Don't wait - get yours now. Rated If you are still struggling with that stupid ball on your Apple mighty mouse, this is what you need! I mean, how many mice can I buy in one year?! I loved the mighty mouse, but over and over, that little ball just kept glitching out. So I tried a logitech and my hand started hurting. Then I found this mouse. I LOVE it. The scroll function is so gentle and easy to use. I never get a sore hand or wrist pain and it works effortlessly. I did have to go through some gyrations to get the scrolling to work with 10.5.8 the instructions of which were easily found on the web. I followed them and had the mouse up and running in no time. I'm about to buy one for the other mac in the house. Rated I don't love it to death, I don't hate it. I do love scrolling with the touch surface, so much so, in fact, that I think the only scrolling experience that compares is a Mac trackpad itself. Swiping for paging, though ... not so much. It's somewhat more awkward than clicking the typical side button on other mice, as you're usually swiping while still gripping the mouse. Left and right clicking? I get spotty results (usually a click instead of a right click) about 15-20% of the time, definitely enough to be annoying. To my relief, no bluetooth issues (I'm not a BT fan). My Mac finds and connects reliably. Battery life is good, not great. I need new batteries every couple of months. That's far more frequent than my last Logitech wireless mouse, but still reasonable. The most significant con is that the mouse's slider pads aren't slick enough. They drag on my desktop enough to make some noise, forcing me to use a pad, which I don't like. All in all, a very good mouse, with some room for improvement. Similar Products
