on 2010-07-29This ds game has been our recent favorite in our family. I've almost completed the "Stamp" round (where you play each game during a circuit) and found that some versions/titles are very similar to popular games we know today by other names. For instance they have a version of "Trouble" and "Othello".
Word Balloon is a fun hangman-type game. Of course there's Texas Hold 'Em, Black Jack, Backgammon, Dots and Boxes, Checkers, Chess, Hearts, Old Maid, Spit, Solitaire and so many more!
You can ds download via ONE game card up to eight players. This is great for family trips, camping and other places (doctor's offices, waiting rooms, etc.) helps eliminate extra packing and losing game pieces.
I've recently been laid up with herniated discs in my back and this game has been so much fun for me to play games with my kids where I wouldn't be able to sit at a table and play with them.
This is a definite basic MUST! Love the graphics, too!

on 2010-07-14This gives you many games to play, however you are restricted to the options within that game, for example, playing Black Jack, it wont let you play continuous, you have to reach a certain score in a certain amount of hands, if you don't reach it, you have to start again, it also wont let you double after splitting, it's very basic, like most of the games.

on 2010-06-26Well worth the money. This has many games included and is good for all ages (adults and kids). With just the one game purchased, we can play on two DSs -- my daughter simply has her DS call mine; she controls the game we choose (when the actual game cartridge is in her DS), but we are both players in the game. Great for car rides. I buy this as gifts for others - it's a favorite and a great price at $20.

on 2010-06-25We bought this right when it came out, but at some point in the last year we lost our copy. We liked the games in this collection so much that we had to buy a replacement copy. Our entire family (including two young children) plays these games, and our favorites include bowling, darts, grid attack (a battleship clone), I doubt it, old maid, and word balloon (sort of a hangman-style word game).
There are a couple of games that we never play, but I can recommend this game quite highly.

on 2010-06-19This is a great game or I should say set of games. We ended up buying a 2nd game so we can play each other. The games play well, the card games play very well. I like Hearts, Sevens especially. Sevens is a quick play and a lot of fun. Chinese checkers is fun. Ludo is a fun game, but it takes longer to play. I usually like the "quick games" while I'm waiting for someone or something. My wife wasn't too sure about buying the DS's for the kids to begin with. But we both have taken the games over and she plays the Clubhouse Games all the time. Actually the kids 8 and 6 play Club House games also and enjoy even though this is more geared for adults. They like Balance and Dots and Boxes, bowling and darts. You can buy this if you look around for under $10. It rates up there with one of the best value purchases I've made recently. We've had a lot of use out of the games and play them almost everyday to unwind.
