on 2010-07-20I also have this game in the Wii and if you have to choose between the two, I would go with the Wii version because it has more games and a better charting system. The Ds game is still a lot of fun adn will definitly keep you challenged for a while at least, no matter how good you think you are. Worth the price I paid.

on 2010-04-06This is definitely one of my all time favorite games. It is made up of a series of exercises for the brain which you can pick up and play at anytime without having to devote lots of time. It is great for playing in the car while you are riding especially when it is dark outside. I believe it exercises my brain. Love this game. I am 66 years old and it has helped me reclaim the ability to add numbers in my head like I used to be able to do. Again, the service was all around wonderful.

A lot of people seem to think brain age is a better game...I played it and was bored to tears.
the games on big brain academy don't take a rocket scientist to play...most of them are pretty easy to pick up....none of them are all that simple to master
BUT if you don't like repetitive games than you won't like this...if you don't mind repetition as long as there's an addictive quality to it you will.
Not a very good review i know but the bad ones inspired me to add a good one...i will leave you with this thought...i shared this with my family...everyone enjoyed it. EVERYONE.
I almost forgot..all the bad reviewers must have never played this in the vs mode. Nothing quite as entertaining as racing someone in a competition to see who can complete more connect the dot puzzles in a minute AND it only requires one copy of the game~!

on 2010-02-05We gave this game to our daughter and she didn't put it down for hours. She even had the rest of the family testing their skill. It's been over a month, and she is still finding it challenging.
