Heating in this 6-1/2-quart pot is sure to satisfy the performance requirements of discerning cooks. The pot boasts triple-layer construction with a stainless-steel interior and exterior bonded over a full aluminum core that extends up the sides as well as through the bottom. Aluminum is an excellent heat conductor, providing consistent heat for simmering soup, chili, or pasta. The stainless-steel pot is safe in the oven and can withstand broiler temperatures as well as the use of metal utensils. However, the tempered-glass lid is oven-safe only to 450 degrees F. The soup pot measures approximately 11 by 15 by 7 inches. All Contemporary Stainless is dishwasher-safe for quick cleanup and covered by a lifetime warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde
