These knife blade covers safely contain sharp knife edges and simultaneously protect them from dulling during in-drawer storage or--for professionals--transportation in a cutlery case. This set includes four covers of varying sizes that are designed to fit an 8-inch chef's knife, an 8-inch slicing knife's narrower blade, a 6-inch utility knife, and a 3- or 4-inch paring knife. on 2010-08-27All I really wanted was a knifeguard for a couple of small paring knifes that I take on the road. This set was the best thing I could find. I don't really use the bigger ones, but guess they could come in handy some day. I wish somebody would make smaller ones and sell them individually. It is nice to be able to throw a knife into your bag and know that it won't tear through something or cut someone.

on 2010-06-29I have used this product for over a year with my favorite chefs knife. It is easy to use and enables me to toss my knife into a drawer without damage. It also makes it easy to travel with my knife when I cook at someone else's house or camp.

on 2010-04-24I really only wanted one large sleeve but couldn't find just the large one. I hope to eventually use the rest of the set. I love that the sleeve is not so bulky that it won't fit in the drawer but it covers the blade to give great protection for the knife edge as well as fingers.
