on 2010-04-22Monster products are well made and are much like the Merecedes Benz
of audio cables. Unfortunately, there are many cheaper automobiles
(and audio cables) made just as well as the Benz (some made better) for a fraction of the price. You are paying for the hood ornament here. Unless you have outstanding ears (or your dog is into high end audio), save your dough and hit the Shack or OWC. OWC has a nice mini to RCA cable for $[...] that is six feet long and features gold-plated jacks. Six feet. 5 bucks. That, my friend, is a monster.

on 2009-10-31I'm not sure how "battery life" applies to a set of cables.. but it's in the "attributes" list.
This is a power cord and set of cables. The cord replaces the wall-wart style OEM plug. The other cables allow you to plug the Airport into your stereo, into either RCA jacks or a TOSLink (laser ooptic cable thingy). I'm using the TOSLink (less cables to mess with).
It's nice to be able to move the appliance off of the wall, and the other cables are handy for connecting to your stereo. I have no complaints at all.

on 2009-06-27I needed the mini toslink cable as well as the extended power cord. Since Apple does not seem to provide the power cord separately, I ended up purchasing this kit. It is wasteful as I expect most people would only end up using one of the two audio cables. Overall the kit worked very well; however, I believe the price could be lower and they should offer the ability to buy only the cables you truly need.

There are cheaper options on amazon and elsewhere. Look around and save yourself some money.
