Large enough to hold a massive turkey, two chickens, or a family-size prime rib, this 16-1/2-inch roasting pan is clad in three layers of nonstick coating durable enough to withstand oven heat to 450 degrees F. It comes with a nonstick rack that lifts food off the pan's bottom for uniform, all-around roasting while preventing a turkey's back from boiling in pan juices. Because it's nonstick, the rack won't pull off pieces of the bird's browned skin. Made of anodized aluminum, the pan is harder than steel and conducts heat evenly whether it's baking lasagna or caramelizing a roast's pan juices. The pan's riveted, cast-stainless-steel handles stand straight up for easy handling and are large enough to accommodate oven mitts. The rack has its own set of large handles.
