Product Description
Air-drying dishes instead of using bacteria-laden towels is the safest way to handle them--ask any health department. Using a dish rack also provides an alternative to risking delicate dishes and glassware to the rigors of a dishwasher and to wasting a dishwasher cycle to wash just a few items. The trick is to find a dish rack that's attractive enough to leave on the counter and that won't become covered in soap scum as plastic racks often do. This rack from Polder meets these criteria--it's made of mirror-finish 18/8 stainless steel so it cleans easily and completely. The rack has slots for 12 dishes and a section for glassware. A three-compartment utensil holder hooks on the rack's wire edge and can be removed to take flatware directly to a drawer or storage box.
